Is It Wrong to Try to Pickup Girls In a Dungeon? Survey says...Hell no! Where else would you deploy your hard earned and well researched pickup lines? A bar? Thats so last century. This series takes place in the fictional country of Orario whose main attraction is "the Dungeon". The Dungeon in reality is a skyscraper like structure in the fashion of the leaning tower of Piza...Piaza...Pizza or whatever the F#*k it's called, where all the lands Adventurers go daily to defeat monsters, beasts, and other nightmarish things and take their crystal shards. The shards can be exchanged for money at the big ass adventurers guild bank, or to craft magical type shit.

Adventurers must however belong to a familia (kinda like a guild, or a clan, or as I like to believe a big ass street gang) to even gain access to the dungeon. Each familia, has a deity (god/goddess) who runs the place, and recruits and takes care of it's members requirements such as leveling up.

The series follows protagonist Bell Cranel, a scrawny unskilled 14-year-old solo adventurer under the goddess Hestia. Bell is the sole member of the Hestia Familia. He works his ass off trying to bring home the bacon, because Hestia is pretty much a freeloader good-for-nothing, who is always asking for favors from the other deities (but we still love her because she only has good intentions, and is always looking out for Bell).
In the series Bell meets a bad-ass swords woman named Aiz Wallenstein, whom saves Bell and in typical anime fashion ends up shoving her giant animated rack in his face in the process. Bell passes out like every time this happens, we don't quite know why. Our theory is that her boobs are made of adventurer kryptonite.

Well the series progresses, Bell gets some sweet gear from Hephaestus, and another dude who makes him some sweet armor. He then delves deeper into the dungeon, all the while leveling his skills, and making some moohlah in the process. Bell later acquires some minions, one of which is a little traitorous bastard for a few episodes, but we forgive her later on, as she was pretty much forced into the position in our opinion. Epic battles ensue, deities are out to get him, and shit gets serious between Bell and Aiz.

So to finish Bell is a boss, gets the girls, and is an all around caring and cool dude whom always puts others well before himself. The only negative we could find with this series is the episode count (13). But the comedy, action, story, and SAO reminiscence make up entirely for it. We give it a solid 8/10. But nobody cares what we think, so give it a watch and judge for yourselves. As always you can start the series by going to our ANIME page, and clicking the link/button to start watching today!
